       L-RAMP (Lemelson Recognition and Mentoring Programme), a joint initiative of IIT Madras and Rural Innovations Network, Chennai.

       One mean of identifying innovation among student the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and IGROW jointly organizes "My Idea Programme" in our campus with the sponsorship of L-RAMP.

       This programme is structured as a one day event on 9th September 2008 from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm with a maximum number of 15 teams (two students per team) participating in it. The students will be informed of the problem/issues two weeks in advance. The participants will have to present their solution during the My Idea Program. Best three solutions will be awarded with cash prize.         

              First Prize : Rs. 3000/-

              Second Prize : Rs. 2000/-

              Third Prize : Rs. 1000/-

         The schedule as follows:

1. Distribution and Display of Notification of the programme on 20th July 2008.
2. Registration of teams - last date 20th August 2008.
3. Receipt of abstract from the registered teams on 25th August 2008.
4. Preliminary Round - Team scrutinizing on 29th August 2008
5. My Idea programme - Phase I on 09th September 2008.
